Anne Enright wrote in the Guardian Review about her two books that she did Not write. She says: It's a bit like Not having sex with someone because you really fancy them. This is exactly how I define my affair with writing. In other words, sometimes we put what we like on a high pedestal so it becomes completely out of reach.
